It began with Cayman.
It became a Caribbean calling.
Ted Green began in 2007 with a deeply personal idea: to capture the Cayman Islands through scent.
For founder Tedrick Green, fragrance became a way to translate home — its flora, memories, rituals and sense of place. But as his passion for perfumery deepened, so did his awareness of a larger gap: the Caribbean has long inspired global fragrance, while its people have too rarely held the ownership, authorship and creative leadership behind those stories.
That realization expanded the vision.
Today, Tedrick leads a Caribbean-owned and Caribbean-led fragrance house created to celebrate the individuality of our islands while giving expression to the culture, beauty and experiences we share across the region.
Each Ted Green fragrance begins somewhere real — a flower, a landscape, a family memory, a cultural ritual — and becomes part of a growing olfactive portrait of the Caribbean, told from within and created for the world.
Tedrick is equally passionate about what grows around the brand. A lifelong commitment to community service has shaped his work as a speaker, mentor, volunteer and philanthropist, and his belief that success should create opportunity beyond itself.
Having built one of the Caribbean’s first fragrance houses rooted and led from within the region, Tedrick sees the new houses and creators now emerging not as competition, but as progress he helped set in motion — more ownership, more voices and more pathways for our people to shape an industry that has long drawn inspiration from our shores.
For Tedrick, the legacy is bigger than one house. It is helping make Caribbean fragrance a category the world knows by the people who create it.
Tedrick Green“Where we come from is not our limitation. It is our power. I want our work at Ted Green to show the world what Caribbean authorship can become — and to be a catalyst for our people to imagine boldly, create fearlessly and go further.”
