The tree that holds the shoreline.

Not the sea as a postcard, but the sea from beneath a tree. Green before it is marine — leathery leaf, warm bark, salt carried on moving air rather than sprayed across it. The scent of shade on a bright day, and the particular relief of stepping into it.

“Shade on a bright day — leaf and warm bark, with salt carried on moving air.”

Salt, sensed from the shade rather than the surf

Our candles are a high-quality soy blend — primarily soy, with some paraffin, vegetable oils and fragrance oils — formulated for an even burn and a true scent throw, with a burn time of approximately 80 hours.

They are free from lead and plastics, and contain no parabens, synthetic dyes or phthalates.

Trim the wick to ¼” before each lighting. Stop when ½” of wax remains. Keep away from draughts, and out of direct heat.

Reed diffusers are flame-free. Rotate the reeds occasionally to refresh the throw; keep the oil off finished surfaces.

Two formats, one composition: a 9 oz hand-poured candle with an approximate 80-hour burn, and a 4.25 oz reed diffuser for a flame-free, slow release.

Plant Synergy

Sea Grape

Coccoloba uvifera

Sea grape is one of the Caribbean’s coastal guardians, thriving where salt, wind and sun meet the shore. Its broad leaves cast shade along beaches and help hold the coastline in place. In Coccoloba, that shoreline character becomes green, textured and sun-warmed — cooled by the clean breath of sea air.

The Story

The tree you knew before its name

Coastal architecture in the truest sense.

Sea grape is not decoration. It helps stabilise dunes, shelter habitat and protect the shoreline from erosion — quietly holding its ground where wind, salt and weather meet the coast. Generations have sat beneath its broad leaves without once calling it conservation.

It is the tree you knew before you knew its name. The one you sheltered beneath, picked fruit from, and trusted for shade on the hottest part of the day.

Shade, shelter, beauty and protection — working quietly together.

The Mood

Caribbean Beach House

Coccoloba is a beach house with the doors thrown open — salt in the air, nothing on the schedule, and the whole afternoon yours.

The Feeling

Unhurried luxe

Airy, calm, and quietly indulgent — the exhale of a day with nowhere to be.

Where It Takes You

A shaded veranda

Above the shoreline, linen lifting in the trade winds, the sea just out of frame.

★★★★★

Green and cool without being sharp. It fills the living room the way a sea breeze does — quietly, and everywhere.

The diffuser lives by our front door now. Everyone who walks in asks what it is.

Reminds me of sitting under the sea grapes as a kid. Even burn, lasts for ages.
